NatGasCar Visits EQT Public CNG Fueling Station in Downtown Pittsburgh

February 8th, 2012

The NatGasCar Dodge Ram 1500 powered by Compressed Natural gas paid a visit to EQT’s public CNG station in downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  The station is modern, well kept, and easy to use.  Credit cards can be used 24 hours a day, and receipts are available.  What a great station to refuel on clean, domestic, and inexpensive ($1.76) CNG.

New Fleet Vehicle

November 30th, 2011

You may have heard that we recently rotated our 2010 White Standard Cab Dodge Ram out of our fleet. We were sorry to see it go but it’s very happy at its’ new home. I spoke to its’ new owner last week and he is THRILLED with his purchase. He’s paying $0.78/GGE at a station about two miles from his home! We’re proud to introduce the newest member of our fleet. It’s a beautiful 2011 BLACK Crew Cab Dodge Ram! Don’t let the lack of Natgascar logos fool you! This vehicle is equipped with our EPA certified CNG conversion system complete with 24GGE cylinder. We’ve sent the vehicle to Colorado to show it off! If you’re interested in previewing this vehicle or another vehicle in our fleet please contact jwray@natgascar.com or call 216-692-3700.

NatGas Performance

October 26th, 2011

Just a quick update, Vail pass last night looked like a snow globe but the 4.7L powered through the early season heavy snow at 10,000 feet on clean burning, cost effective CNG. In fact I was able to make the whole trip from SLC to Denver on CNG. Who says there is not infrastructure out there?

3.6L Dodge

October 24th, 2011

Just an FYI we will begin to take purchase orders for the 3.6L Dodge Caravan conversion system the second week of November. Please contact John Webster at jwebster@natgascar.com for more information as well as quotes. Thank you.

Colorado

October 18th, 2011

You can almost hear the John Denver playing...

Had a great drive through Colorado last week. The NatGasCar Ram handled the high elevation (Monarch pass 11312 feet!) and even the low temps, it was 18F!

At the summit

Finished the drive off by stopping in Grand Junction and fueling up at Monument Clean Fuels. Great place to stop if you are on the Western Slope.

Soccer anyone?

September 26th, 2011

We here at NatGasCar know these things have a bit of a reputation as the transportation of choice for soccer moms and dads everywhere. Nevertheless, a vehicle running this well on CNG is exciting whether it is headed to a soccer practice or not!
